Terminal Warehouse

We collaborated with Visual House to make a 90 second commercial for Terminal Warehouse, a historic 1.2 Million square-foot complex located in West Chelsea, New York, NY. The building was originally constructed in 1891 and is currently undergoing a transformation to restore its infrastructure to its historic glory. Given we filmed during the renovation process, we needed to combine CGI scenes of the building interior with footage we were able to capture on location. Consequently, we focused filming our talent commuting to work in the surrounding neighborhood (Highline, waterfront, Hudson Yards) as well as capturing scenes in La Colombe coffee shop and The Porchlight bar which remained open during the renovations to Terminal Warehouse. In post production, some of our drone footage as well as the views from the building were used as CGI backplates, for example the opening shot of the video is a combination of CGI and real footage.
