Staten Island Academy
Staten Island Academy is an independent Pre-K3 through Grade 12 school with a 140-year strong reputation for nurturing young people of high character. Our first collaboration with SIA dates back to early March 2020, just before the onset of the COVID-19 pandemic. For this latest project we decided to focus on candid moments of students on campus. We asked each student we interviewed what the school represented to them by having the complete the sentence “SIA is ___”. Working closely with the vibrant student body, dedicated faculty, and supportive staff was an enriching and memorable experience for us.
Special thanks to Erin Boyle ’18 for coordinating with our team throughout the production process. Erin assisted with scheduling and selecting faculty and students for all the interviews, the project would not have been the same without Erin!
