Our Living World

I spent almost two years working on this project between 2020 and 2022 capturing seasonal changes in the White Mountain National Forest with the DJI Inspire 2. The aim was to captured seasonal drone shots of landscape scenes that showed zero human impact or development. We created dozens of different waypoint flights across a number of locations, mostly along the Kancamagus Highway. To ensure all the shots matched, we had match lenses, match the lighting as best as we could, and we had to make sure we launched the drone from the exact same location and height a different times of year- sometimes this meant shoveling unplowed parking lots to ensure the drone was taking off from the exact same spot.

Also thanks to my dog Mosley for tagging along on some of these shoots 🐾 The 2am alarm clocks, -22 degree temps, and camping out in the wilderness with a generator for charging batteries, having a dog for company was the icing on the cake during this shoot :)
