Gaggenau- NYC

Directed by Parable TV

For four days in September 2016, a 7,700-square-foot studio in Chelsea became a patch of Germany’s Black Forest, a pop-up restaurant lead by chef Daniel Humm in honor of Gaggenau’s 333rd anniversary. In this environment, guests could experience a new age of culinary luxury and broaden their senses.

Our Role: Time-lapse unit

Having emerged from the Black Forest 333 years ago, Gaggenau celebrates this milestone by opening its Pop-up Restaurant 1683 in New York City in fall this year. While paying homage to its origins as a nail forge and celebrating its rich German heritage, the Restaurant brings the charme of the Black Forest to Manhattan. In this environment, guests can experience a new age of culinary luxury and broaden their senses.
Responsible for the multi-sensory experience of Restaurant 1683, renowned German architect Hendrik Müller from eins:33 shares with us what he got his inspiration from.
